The basic functions of the Software can be used without registration with Doaker being necessary. If the user registers with Doaker he may choose from a range of further functions. The user may, for instance, save on the Doaker server documents including text or figures, mind maps or other contents (hereinafter: “Contents”), which are created or managed with the Software, or receive personalised recommendations regarding literature.
Web design
If you think you can do something to help Doaker, please let us know. Besides joining our development team, or translating Doaker to your language, we are particularly interested in people with artistic talent to help us improving our web design, and creating screen-casts and videos. Also, if you are good in explaining complex things, you are more than welcome to help other users with their questions in our forum. Or maybe you could hold a tutorial or presentation at your university about Doaker? Whatever you want to do, be creative and help us making Doaker the best literature management software ever.
Cooperation
Currently, three full-timers are working on Doaker plus several volunteers and advisers. However, there is much, much more work lying ahead of us. We could easily use ten or more full-time developers, researchers, customer supporters etc. and still we would probably reach only half of what we envision for Doce
